This website shows detailed maps of the towns
and cities of Great Britain dating from around the middle of
last century. The purpose of this page is to provide an index of
all the maps on the website, listed
alphabetically by country for easy reference.
Maps of the
major towns and cities have been included to create a comprehensive reference library of old maps
of the towns of England, Scotland and Wales, as recorded on the
Bartholomew Half Inch maps of last century. The towns of Ireland
have not been included as Ireland is not covered by this map
series.
