Swanage

Swanage, with a population of just under 10,000, lies on the Dorset coast ten miles south east of Wareham. A pleasant resort with good access to a safe sandy beach. There are several old buildings, some with features brought from London, like the Town Hall facade and the clock tower. The 13th century church tower remains, though the church has been rebuilt.
