Deal
Situated eight miles north east of Dover, with a population approaching 30,000, Deal is a popular coastal resort. The sixteenth century castle stands at the town's southern end, built by Henry the Eighth as part of the coastal defences against the French. It is said that Julius Caesar landed here in 55 BC.
